The bathroom in Owl's Hoot was great! It had a refreshing shower that made me feel rejuvenated after a long day of exploring. As a budget traveler, having a clean and functional bathroom is a huge plus for me!

The only thing I didn't love was the shower's water pressure, but that's just my personal preference.

The cottage was absolutely gorgeous with extra touches like a bottle of prosecco and a happy birthday banner. The hot tub was amazing, even with a clear cover above the pergola. The bicycles were a great way to explore the local area. The Four Horseshoes Inn was a cozy country pub with excellent food and service. a fab time and didn't want to leave.

I recently stayed at Owls Hoot for a relaxing 4-day getaway with my boyfriend. The cottage exceeded our expectations with its gorgeous interior and private jacuzzi and sauna. John and Katie, our hosts, were amazing and provided us with helpful information about the area. The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch too. We enjoyed exploring the local area on the bicycles provided and had a great meal at The Four Horseshoes Inn. The hot tub, now with a clear cover, allowed us to relax even in the rain. We can't wait to return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful break!

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the private jacuzzi and sauna, perfect for relaxation. The property was clean and the hosts were informative and friendly. The bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch. We had a great time and would definitely return in the future.

The cottage exceeded our expectations, it was even better than the pictures! The communication with the hosts before and during our stay was excellent. They even left special touches like milk, tea, and coffee for us, plus a lovely bottle of prosecco. The location was great, with plenty of nearby attractions to explore. We particularly enjoyed using the bicycles provided to venture around the area. And of course, the highlight was the amazing hot tub, which we spent hours in every evening, regardless of the weather!

We found black mold in the bathroom, exposed raw plugs/holes in the walls of the bedroom, and evidence that a pet had been there before us, with animal hair still present. The sauna was also not in the best condition, with multiple gaps in the wood, making it difficult to maintain a good temperature.

Drawbacks: The cleanliness of the hot tub and decking could have been better, and there were a few maintenance issues like black mold in the shower and loose shelves in the bedroom. However, these minor issues didn't dampen my overall experience.
